Report directly to the Board of PSA and CPA. Ms. Rodriques runs the operations for 3 companies, including managing the largest pathology group in the State of Arizona. PSA is a partnership organization that includes 6 pathology groups and has the sole contract with Banner Healthcare/Laboratory Services of Arizona and Sonora Quest Laboratories. ClinPath Associates has the remaining contracts with Arizona Hospitals for 2 Dignity facilities, all Abrazo and Steward Health facilities and several ASCs, Clinics and Dermatology practices in the greater Phoenix area. In addition, PSA owns PBS which is managed by this role and performs all pathology billing for the 6 groups under PSA.
Ms. Rodriques is a laboratory management and healthcare expert with more than 129 years’ experience. She most recently served as a Senior NMG Consultant and as Administrative Director for Pathology and Laboratory Medicine for a large health system located in California. Ms. Rodriques has extensive knowledge in laboratory automation and implementation. She has built laboratories from ground up where she implemented a one of a kind total lab automation system. In addition to automation, Ms. Rodriques’ expertise includes operations benchmarking of laboratories including productivity and expense review.
Ms. Rodriques has published a number of papers in laboratory publications, including a four-part series on total laboratory automation on a hospital laboratory setting, published in Clinical Laboratory Management Review. She is an extensive speaker, presenting on laboratory automation, leadership and clinical topics at many conferences, including the AACC annual meeting, the CLMA ThinkLab and KnowledgeLab, the Executive War College, and G2 Intelligence’s Lab Revolution.
Ms. Rodriques is a fellow with the American College of Healthcare Executives. In this role, she works on initiatives focused on the development of future workforce and healthcare leaders and promotes the contributions of the laboratory industry. She has served on the Board for Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA). Ms. Rodriques is the author of the finance section of the body of knowledge for clinical laboratory managers and has lectured on the prep course for the ASCP DLM exam.
Ms. Rodriques holds a Masters degree in Health Systems Management from Rutgers University, NJ and a Bachelors degree in Medical Technology from California State University , Northridge, CA.
Ms. Rodriques enjoys theatre, traveling and biking with her husband and two adult children. Ms. Rodriques volunteers her personal time to young female students through mentoring and role modeling as they plan for their college and career pathways.
